Google Adsense Money Tips 1 – Blending Ads Tips

For anyone that started out to make some money online, be it additional pocket money or it being a full time career, surely they will have started out using google adsense.

With millions of people and maybe billions of people trying to earn a slice of google adsense money, most of them have never has the chance of receive any money from the big G. (Minimum payout is $100, in order to qualify for payment.)

Along my journey to earning money from the internet, particularly the big google, I discovered ads color certainly play a big part in determining how much clickthrough (CTR) your ads received.

From my experience, here one of the basic yet most overlook google adsense money tips.  Your Ads should blend in with your website.

Blending? How to blend my ads with my website? For instance, change your background to match your website background color, if you site is grey change your google adsense ads background color to grey as well.

Ensure that the link color on google adsense ads have the same color as your links on your website. In other words, make the ads a part of your webpage. If possible, rule out image ads, most surfers are immune to image ads and are more likely to skip them.

I have tried to different methods such as contrasting color ads however the results were poor for a couple of sites. I have read blogs and forums that reported that contrast ad display were performing better for them, but personally,  my experience with contrasting color failed terribly.

I will experiment again with contrast color ads in the near future and will post to keep you all updated about it. Probably my failure with contrasting color ads was due to my ads placement and experience with adsense when i was starting out.

Check out the designs  and ads on this website and you discovered that i had the google ads blend into the page as well.
