My First Affiliate Marketing Project

I finally kick start on my affiliate marketing on one of my domains.

I was deciding, instead of leaving the domain out in the cold and not doing anything special, why not i use this site for affiliate marketing? And thus i kickstart my affiliate marketing journey.

And on the site, i optimized for only 3 keywords. 24 hours later, on google analytics, 6 visitors recorded. 3 new and 3 re-visitors. A good start for a website that i spent 5 mins setting up but 60 mins to find a suitable affiliate product.

However, none of the traffic comes from search engine. 5 of the visits are direct. Meaning they type in the web address directly into the address bar. Weird that anyone will type in the webaddress, since the domain name i purchase was not your typical high traffic keyword.

(i bought that domain name at the very start of my IM career before i knew advanced keyword marketing. And it is unlikely anyone will type the word as a full domain name)
