Today a question suddenly struck me, why the hell did i waste so much time just to create 1 website? Seriously, i have no idea how to reply myself. I check through my adsense reports and see something interesting.


I forgot how i name my sites, but here it goes. For site H1, i created that in sept 09. Did hell lot of profile backlinks for a keyword and it is still stubbornly at position 30+. Remember the few packs of backlinking i was doing back in Oct and early nov? They were all for this site’s keywords (2 main one). According to Micro Niche Finder, they had extremely low SOC. I have checked with google first 10 result, they were easy too. Total PR of first 10 results were 20.

New unique visitors according to Analytics was in the low 100s


For the newer site, H2, it was created and finished in this month. I bought the new domain last month.

And the new unique visitors according to Analytics was close to hundred.


And both got me similar earnings already. And i checked the keywords i have chosen for my new site, 2 were already in the top 20s.


Both has the same style of getting backlinks. I have RSS boted both sites, Traffic bot all the posts. Directory both both sites too. Done around 20 profile links for the new site for 2 keywords, while i did at least 150 profile links for the 2 old keywords! Unfair? Yes, but life is not fair too! The new site seems to be taking over the old site now.


Probably it is time to give up on the old site and just let it it earn residue income. To be fair, the old site’s domain name was created when i was a big time newbie, while for the newer site, i have taken care to get the almost exact match domain, just by adding a “pre-fix” in front of the EMD.


However, the keywords i am ranking for are not related to the domain names. In fact, my main keyword for the new site was not even in the top 100!!


Looking like wasting time on 1 site is not the way to go. Mass small niche sites VS a informative site. I think i know which route i want to go.
