This post will be all about the seo optimization methods i used everytime when i create a new site.
Creating Privacy Policy
Firstly, i created the privacy policy because it is needed for compliance with adsense TOS. If you need help with privacy policy, feel free to use my privacy policy. Remember to remove my website reference
Installation of Google Analytics
This is to enable me to track my web traffic especially for search engine traffic visitors. An excellent free tool to check where your visitors are coming from and what keywords they use to find your website.
Adsense channel creation
Of course, i will like to know how much this site is earning me, hence a adsense URL channel to know the earnings from the new site in a month.
Google Webmasters
This is mainly for sitemap submission to enable google to index the pages at a faster rate. And another important thing is to set the redirection of link juice from backlinks to the “www” version. There is a setting which allows you to set between whether you prefer the “www” or non “www” version of your webpage.
Occasionally, i will pop in to have a look at my backlinks and the keywords rankings.
RSS submission
With XsitePro, i am able to create RSS feeds for the entire website. After creating the first content page and the privacy page, i send the RSS feeds out the RSS aggregators using RSSBot.
Directory Submission
To further let the internet world know about my site and to get backlinks, i will submit the sites to the various directories using DirectoryBot
Social Bookmarking of first content page
Once the content page is nicely done with good content, I will use social bot to send it to the various social bookmarking websites. Good content will mean that the article has around 400-500 words and is informative to the reader and not junk information to ensure that my bookmarking account is not banned. This is bookmarked using Traffic Bot
* Note, the above RSSbot, directorybot, traffic bot are programs to submit your content to the various websites.

All in one SEO Pack Plugin
This will allow you to modify and change the title and description of your post for SEO purposes. With a good title and description, your website has a higher chance to be located online.
Google XML Sitemaps
This is to create sitemaps which i submit to the various big search engines such as google and yahoo. And bing, if i remember about it 
Submitting to the various sitemaps will allow the search engine to index your website. Being indexed means that your website is included in their search database, hence a chance for free organic traffic.
Yet another Related Post Plugins (YARPP)
This is actually an optional wordpress plugin which i use. If i am making a wordpress site and i do not intend to maintain it, aka 1 time setup with around 10 pages contents, i will not use it. If i am making a site where i plan to make it an authority site with new updated contents in the future, i will use this. This is to allow easy linking of similar topics in the blog.
Advanced Adsense
This is to ensure that the adsense ads are displayed according to the content i have written and not the content of the entire website.
For instance, i am writing a post about Macdonald burgers. Hence search enginie visitors will be here for the macdonald content. However, probably my blog is a food site and there may be other posts about other fast food restaurants such as KFC ,displayed as links, on the same page. With this advanced adsense wordpress plugin, the ads will be confined to the content which is everything related to Macdonalds.
