Day 58 and 59 – ArticleBot and Affiliate Marketing

Did i got lazy? Probably. Friday (Day 58) passed by fast with me doing my backlinks and backlinks. 3 crazy hours for backlinking for 2 of my sites. Which you should know, is extremely draggy and dull. I done up around 80 profile links for 2 sites.
Other then backlinking, i create 4 articles around 250 words on old site which requires some updating. Creating the at articles were crazy. I had lost touch with the niche and have to scramble around the net to absorb the information and verify my article’s accuracy.
And a nap on my bed, turns out to be my sleeping time. I slept all the way into the morning til day 59.
Day 59 was much more interesting. Rewrote 1 article to submit to hubpage. And added in an amazon link as it was a product shopping guide. Shall see how it goes.
And rewrote the re-rewritten article to Articlebot.
I have submitted a few articles using articlebot and decided to check on the backlink submitted to the various article directories. I opened up google webmasters and siteexplorer.
I did a check on an article which was submitted in Oct, which by now should be well indexed with the backlinks from the various article directories back to my site.
And horrors of horrors! Not a single backlink from any article directories in webmaster or site explorer. Yahoo Site Explorer is famous for detecting backlinks that google could not detect, including nofollow links. To say, i will be extremely disappointed with the software.
The article i submitted today, using article bot, will be my last, if the various article directories in article bot fails to generate any backlinks in 1 month’s time with my new article.
And i, again, tried out my affiliate marketing. lol. I had a 1 page site which is exclusively selling clickbank product. However, with no followup mails and explanation, i am not expecting to make any sales. And that site had out of top 10, almost out of top 20 as well. Got to be backlinking it to push it up to page 1.
Spent 4 hours configuring my rapid responsebot as well as setting up followup mails and verifying that all links in the followup mail. Writing persuasive sales letter is sure hard! But as most affiliate people said, it is a 1 time effort!
